Yael Sank brings over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples and families to Soho Parenting. She received her MSW from New York University in 1986, and completed her post-graduate degree in Couples and Family Therapy from The Postgraduate Center of New York. She has furthered her training in various modalities including hypnosis, EMDR, IFS and addiction recovery.
Laura Leiker is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kansas where she earned a BA in History. She is the director of administrative services and editor of Soho Parenting's blog, ParenTalk: Sound Advice in Crazy Times. Laura is an integral part of the Soho Parenting team.
Amelia Romanowsky received her BA from Harvard College and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University. Amelia is an experienced couples therapist who uses Emotion Focused Therapy. Empathic and insightful, Amelia draws from a broad range of training and experience to understand her clients. She also specializes in life transitions, GLBT issues, and the mind/body connection. Amelia is the co-author of the book Treating Affect Phobia.
Irena received her Masters in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute and has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. She is currently completing postgraduate training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at NYIPT. Irena's approach combines use of creativity, play and traditional talk therapy. She balances active engagement with respectful support for self exploration and discovery.
Colleen Campo supports postpartum mothers and couples through the exciting and often challenging adjustment to parenthood. Colleen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts in Community and Family Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. As a member of Postpartum Support International, Colleen is skilled in diagnosing and treating postpartum anxiety and depression in a caring and effective way.
Felicia received her Masters degree in Social Work from New York University and post-graduate education at the Institute for Child, Adolescent and Family Studies. Felicia offers parent guidance, therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She also works at the Park Slope Center For Mental Health. In her years of experience working with families Felicia has developed a sensitive, yet pragmatic approach to help her clients transform and access their potential.
